Recalculate Data

Cantax FormMaster allows you to recalculate the data in the active client file.

This feature is very useful if you make a change in the preparer profile;

  • To recalculate the data in the active client file from the Forms view, click Recalculate on the Edit menu.

To recalculate the data in several client files, proceed as follows:

  1. Display the Client Manager.
  2. Select the client files for which you want to recalculate the tax data. If necessary, use the available filters to reduce the length of the list appearing in the table.
  3. On the Tools menu, click Recalculate Selected Tax Returns.
  4. Click Yes to confirm.
Note: Cantax FormMaster will display a log after the operation is completed. Cantax FormMaster will inform you if data recalculation was successful for each return or not. If you want to print the log for reference purposes, click Print.
